Skiing on the Marmolada and in the Dolomiti Superski
The hotel Garnì Roberta is the best place to stay if you want to enjoy skiing on the Dolomites: our hotel is one of the very few from which you can reach the Superski slopes – those of the skiing area 06, Arabba/Marmolada- by feet.
The Superski skiing complex is one of the largest and most charming skiing areas on the Alps: the Terrazza di Punta Rocca is the highest point accessible on the Dolomites through the slopes, and it offers a magnificent, 360’ view on Sassolungo, Pale di San Martino, Tofane, the Sella, the Puez-Odle, Sasso Croce, the mountains of the Parco Nazionale del Fanes, Sennes and Braies and more.
The cable railway leaving from Malga Ciapela, called the Funivia della Marmolada, is a modern system among the most beautiful and breathtaking in the world: it covers almost 2000 meters (6562 ft) of difference in level in 15 minutes, reaching the 3269 meters (10725 ft) of Punta Rocca. From here, the possibilities are endless: you can choose the 12 km of the historical ‘Bellunese’ slope, and return to Malga Ciapela, or move towards Arabba and Sellaronda thanks to the ski-lift rising up to Passo Padon.
The hotel Garnì Roberta is truly your ideal choice for the perfect winter holiday, not only for skiing on the Marmolada but also in Alta Badia, Val di Fassa, Arabba and the Val Gardena, all without even taking your skis off!
